How often have you heard other people say these words: “I’m tired of looking tired”? How often have you heard your brain saying those same words to yourself?
Our faces play a large role in how the world perceives us. When our faces change with age, it can give the appearance to others that we are tired, old, sick or less vibrant, even when we feel great inside.
What are the causes of looking tired?
The first cause is heaviness around the eyes. Either heavy upper lids or baggy lower lids, including eyelid Festoons, can make us appear tired, sick and older. Thankfully, surgical correction, including my RESET, procedure can turn this area around.
The second cause is loss of volume in our face and especially around our mouth. Puppet lines and marionette lines, which are medically referred to as nasolabial and melolabial fold,s form as we experience aging in this area. This can make us appear mad or sad even when we feel happy inside.
Fortunately, there are techniques to help both of these conditions and restore a person’s appearance back to a vibrant, healthy and more attractive state. To learn more about this topic, take a look at my blog I’m Tired of Looking Tired.
